Ad Policy Compliance & Appeals

Warnings, suspensions, invalid-traffic reviews and appeals on Google Ads, AdSense, Ad Manager and Google Play — fixed in the order that actually works.

The problem

A policy email from Google arrives at the worst time, says very little, and gives you a short window to respond. Most people do one of two things: fire off an appeal the same hour, or change everything on the site at once. Both usually make the next review harder.

We have been on the receiving end of these on our own properties — AdSense, Ad Manager, Google Ads and Google Play — which is the only reason we are any good at them.

What we do
  • Pre-launch policy check — a site, campaign or app reviewed against the current Google Ads, AdSense, Ad Manager or Google Play policies before it goes live, so the first review is the last one
  • Warnings and limited ad serving — reading what the notice is actually about (it is rarely what the subject line says), finding the pages or placements behind it, and fixing those
  • Disapprovals and suspensions — Google Ads account suspensions, AdSense and Ad Manager policy violations, Play app rejections and developer account enforcement
  • Invalid traffic reviews — traffic-source analysis, placement and bot filtering, and the documentation networks ask for after an IVT deduction
  • Appeal preparation — the appeal written once, with evidence, after the fixes are live and verifiable, rather than three appeals in a week
  • Consent and data-safety compliance — EEA/UK consent (CMP), Play data-safety declarations and privacy pages brought in line with what the platform actually checks
  • A written record — what was found, what was changed and when, so you have it for the next reviewer or the next time
The hard part

Appeal once, after the fix, not three times before it

Every appeal you send is read against the state of the account at that moment. If the problem is still there, the appeal is denied, and each denial makes the next reviewer less patient. The order that works is dull: find the actual cause, change it, confirm the change is visible to Google, then write one clear appeal that shows it.

The other thing nobody tells you: some enforcement actions have no appeal path at all. We will tell you which kind you have before you pay us for one.

How we work on it
  1. Read the notice

Which policy, which property, which pages or placements, and what the deadline really is.

  2. Find the cause

Content, layout, traffic sources, consent, declarations — checked against the policy, not guessed.

  3. Fix it

Changes made on the live property and verified, with a record of each one.

  4. Appeal

One appeal, written with evidence, submitted when the fixes are visible.

  5. Keep it clean

The structure that caused it is changed so the same notice does not come back.

In writing

What you get

  • A written review of the notice and the issues behind it
  • A prioritised fix list, and the fixes applied where the property is in scope
  • A prepared appeal where one is available, with the evidence attached
  • Consent, data-safety and privacy pages brought in line with the policy
  • A dated record of what changed

Outside our control

  • Approval, reversal or reinstatement — the platform decides, and we have no special access to its review teams
  • Review timelines, which Google sets and changes
  • Enforcement actions that carry no appeal path
  • Repeat violations caused by changes made after our work

Scope, deliverables, timelines and fees go in writing before work starts. Ad spend, platform fees and third-party subscriptions are billed separately from our fee.

Who this is for

Publishers with an AdSense or Ad Manager warning, advertisers with a suspended Google Ads account, app owners with a Play rejection, and anyone launching something they would rather have checked first. If what you have cannot be appealed, we will say so in the first call.

Questions

Can you guarantee my account gets reinstated?

No, and nobody honest can. Google decides. What we can do is make sure the appeal is the strongest one that can be made, sent at the right time, with the problem actually fixed.

My Google Ads account was suspended for “circumventing systems”. Is that appealable?

Sometimes. It depends on what triggered it and the account history. We look at the account first and tell you whether an appeal has a realistic chance before you pay for one.

How fast can you respond to a notice?

Review starts the same or next working day. Fixes depend on what is wrong; a layout or consent fix is hours, a content problem across hundreds of pages is longer.

Do you handle Meta policy issues as well?

Yes for ad account and page restrictions, within the same approach. Our deepest experience is with Google’s networks.

What do you need from me?

Access to the account or property in question and the original notice. Where access cannot be shared, we work from screenshots and exports, with less certainty.
